• Jake Bennett (Univ of Missisiippi) had trouble uploading his Annual Report, which caused the Univ of Mississippi group in quarknet.org to vanish.Vineet brought it back but Ken has trouble understanding what she wrote about it: "This appears to have been an edge case. I fixed it by removing and re-adding the group nodes or content items, which suggests the original content item might not have been linked correctly. Please remember to clear the cache after any updates to the group." There may still be tech trouble with this group.

e-Labs

• e-Labs issues tracking page (Google Doc)
• Edit and Joel are setting up a sandbox VM to test problems with uploads.

Cosmic

• Cosmic Watches have been very popular at workshops. Several teachers have asked about purchasing CWs. Might it be possible to considering making, and selling CWs at cost? This could be a way to continue to promote CWs without taxing the budget and/or the logistics of centrally "checking out" sets of CWs.

CMS

• CIMA issue continues. We are making Google sheets for masterclasses that take place this summer.
  • Plan to resolve before IPPOG at end of October by either placing old CIMA on CERN server or creating new CIMA.

  • CERN videocons Feb 18 - Apr 1
  • FNAL videocons Mar 2-28
• More news from meeting with Uta: Uni Bonn is working on a new version of the LHCb masterclass. The old measurement has problems in the first half.
• Expected for IMC 2026: all or almost all CMS data from CMS Run 2. Stay tuned. The new set will include 840 fout-lepton events, almost 4x what we had available in Run 1.
• Preparation for LHC open data tutorial at ACP: new notebook with dimuon spectrum https://github.com/cms-dpoa/cms-acp-tutorial
• Masterclass preparation
  • The new masterclass event display files are produced from 2016 MINIAOD. There was a problem with global muon propagation in MINIAOD where they would not show up in the display. This is now fixed and the 4-lepton events have all been regenerated with the fix: https://github.com/QuarkNet-HEP/cms-masterclass-scripts
  • The selection criteria from 2016 have been applied for W events and csv files have been produced. Next to be produced are event displays files. https://github.com/QuarkNet-HEP/Wmunu-jupyter, https://github.com/QuarkNet-HEP/Wenu-jupyter

• Ken will give a talk on Masterclasses at the African Conference on Fundamental and Applied Physics (ACP) next week. He will also help facilitate a teacher workshop.
