Meeting Notes for 14 September
Present: Joel, Liz, Sudha, Tom
CMS
Tom has included the ability to capture correlated histograms as images in the new e-Lab code, but quality is an issue. Capturing a canvas as a .png is noticably lossy, while capturing svg to .png loses css styling. For now, screenshots uploaded to the server for inclusion in posters functions as a work-around.
Cosmic Ray
Immediately after teleconference, Joel and Mark went over the Delta T improvements for the Cosmic Shower Analysis. Joel will start work on this with regular updates.
CIMA
Joel, Ken and Tom conferred about improvements to CIMA earlier this morning. They expect the following improvements by early December:
- Tom
- iSpy will display 4-vectors and invariant masses for selected tracks
- Incorporate new data set
- Joel
- Students will enter the invariant mass given by iSpy into CIMA
- Improved documentation
- Ken
