Web Domain
Phil DeMar at Fermilab is amenable to transferring the domain quarknet.org to ND for QuarkNet's use. Joel will coordinate with Dave Coder of FNAL.
Cosmic
- Mark will continue looking for a canonical data set for Analysis bug testing. After the telecon, Joel finally located some missing Analysis classes tucked away in a nondescript .jar, which will help troubleshoot problems with the e-Lab Analysis code.
- We're currently working on two new data tools for Cosmic Ray studies
- A method of correcting cosmic ray data to account for atmospheric pressure.
- A tool to plot flux as a function of time for the August solar eclipse.
- Mark and Sudha are working on an "eclipse data" Shower Analysis output file, similar to the "eventCandidates" file.
- Joel is able to connect to CREDO's PL-Grid Prometheus account. Before we begin rsyncing data, he will follow up to confirm that they've been able to recreate an analysis with the sample files.
